- Austrian actor Daniel Hoevels slit his throat when his prop knife turned out to be real. As Hoevals slumped over, blood pouring from his neck, the crowd rose to their feet in applause at the "special effect." Hoevals barely missed the cartoid artery and from the emergency room declared that the show must go on.
